In 1844, a ship called the 'SS Fly' sailed along the coast of Queensland. The ship landed and the crew explored along the shore. They found some huge bones which they put onto the ship and sailed it back to England.

People discovered that the bones came from an early dinosaur called Agrosaurus. They wanted to go back to Queensland and find some more of the bones. But there was a problem. No-one had written down where the bones had been found. It was somewhere in Queensland but no-one knew where.

The bones of Agrosaurus have never been found again.

The bones show that Agrosaurus was a long necked dinosaur. It might have been about three metres long and weighed about 50-60 kilograms.  It is not known if Agrosaurus ate meat or plants, but some scientists think it was a carnivore.
