The Chimera was a monster from Greek mythology. Its body was a combination of  a goat and a lion. Its tail was a snake.

Bellerophon was told to go to Lycia and kill the Chimera. He rode Pegasus, the winged white horse to Lycia.

Pegasus flew over the Chimera. From the air, Bellerophon used a bow and arrow to shoot and kill the Chimera.
